About The Position

The position focuses on creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages customer return. The role involves achieving sales and profit goals for the department, monitoring quality assurance standards, and supervising all functions and activities within the department. The candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the Frozen Foods section and embrace the Customer 1st strategy, encouraging associates to deliver excellent customer service. Requirements

  • Minimum effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Retail experience.
  • Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).

  • Collaborate with associates to achieve company/store goals.
  • Establish performance goals for the department.
  • Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume.

  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department.
  • Display a positive attitude.
  • Develop and implement a department business plan.
  • Understand the store's layout and locate products.
  • Create and execute sales promotions.
  • Inform associates about current and upcoming promotions.
  • Prepare and submit seasonal critiques for the sales and merchandising supervisor.
  • Assist in preparing the store/department budget and profit/loss reviews.
  • Maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions.
  • Schedule price changes and update shelf tags.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the inventory process.
  • Train associates on inventory/stocking and Computer Assisted Ordering.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Report safety risks or illegal activities.
