About The Position

The Frozen Food/Lead Clerk is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and achieving sales and profit goals for the department. This role involves monitoring quality assurance standards, directing and supervising department functions, and supporting day-to-day Frozen Foods operations. The individual is expected to embrace the Customer 1st strategy, encourage excellent customer service, and demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Gerbes, based in Missouri, merged with The Kroger Company in 1983 and now serves customers in 6 stores across Columbia and Jefferson City. • Monitor and control all established quality assurance standards
• Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the department
• Support the day-to-day functions of the Frozen Foods operations
