About The Position

The Seasonal Maintenance Assistant position at Frontier Ranch is a part-time role running from mid-May through August or September. The primary responsibility is to assist with a large fencing project, which includes removing old fencing, driving new posts, and stringing wire. Additional tasks may include landscaping (mowing, trimming, weeding, pruning), general maintenance (painting, staining, clean-up), and supporting other camp departments such as housekeeping and laundry as needed. This position is designed for individuals who are at least 14 years old, physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, and able to work outdoors on their feet each day. The pay rate is $15 per hour, with an expected schedule of 16-24 hours per week. Housing is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Participate in opportunities for growing deeper in your relationship with Jesus.
• Develop an annual personal spiritual growth plan with direction from supervisor.
• Build relationships that reflect the character of God with guests, staff, vendors, and neighbors.
• Offer leadership and direction to those workers assigned to you.
• Work closely with the Site and Facilities Superintendent, Guest Services Coordinator, and assigned staff on all matters involving use of the property for the program.
• Cooperate with all other departments at camp to operate as a team.
• Demonstrate a posture of service that anticipates guest needs and responds with professionalism.
• Maintain a pleasant, positive attitude toward staff and others involved in the program.
• Manage with integrity the buildings and equipment entrusted to our ministry.
• Engage in the Individual Development Plan process and participate in training and development opportunities.
• Execute all assigned duties and document all work completed and items maintained.
