We are looking for a Frontier Data Lead to act as a technical owner for our Finance data projects. In this high-impact individual contributor role, you will report directly to the Head of Frontier Data and are responsible for the end-to-end success of data delivery—specifically balancing quality, volume, and deadlines. You will not manage the crowd workforce directly. Instead, you will define the how: you will architect the data generation process, write the automation scripts, set the quality rubrics, and drive the Data Operations team to execute your vision. You are responsible for the revenue growth and technical integrity of your domain.

Requirements

  • Subject Matter Expert: Deep expertise in Finance, and specifically PE/VC/IB.
  • Technical Builder: Proficient in scripting (Python) and comfortable designing automated QA workflows.
  • Project Driver: Proven ability to deliver complex projects on tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Commercial Mindset: Understands that high-quality data is a product that drives revenue; comfortable in pre-sales and solutioning environments.

Responsibilities

  • Process Architecture & Technical Operations Define the Process: Design and review the end-to-end data generation workflow for every new project, ensuring it is scalable and robust.
  • Drive Technical Ops: Act as the technical director for the Strategic Project Lead; you provide the roadmap and technical requirements that the operations team executes.
  • Tooling & Automation: Design specialized tooling requirements and write scripts (Python/SQL) to automate Quality Assurance, reducing manual bottlenecks.
  • Data Formatting: Define and validate the final data formats (JSON, JSONL, etc.) to ensure seamless integration for the client.
  • Quality Assurance & Standards Set the "Gold Standard": Personally generate the initial data samples to establish the quality benchmark for the project.
  • Rubrics & Guidelines: Create detailed data generation guidelines and rigid Quality Rubrics that objectively measure success.
  • Instruction Finalization: Audit client requirements and work with the Strategic Project Lead to finalize clear, bulletproof instructions for the talent pool.
  • Training Oversight: Review and approve the training and onboarding materials to ensure the talent pool is technically capable of delivering the work.
  • Client Solutioning & Growth Solutioning Partner: Lead technical solutioning conversations with clients, translating their complex AI training needs into executable data strategies.
  • Revenue Responsibility: Own the revenue generation and growth targets for your specific data domain.
  • Proof of Value: Design and execute "Proof of Value" pilots to demonstrate technical capability and win new business.
  • Feedback Loops: Aggressively collect and analyze client feedback to iterate on instructions and improve output immediately.
  • Strategic Collaboration Marketing Technical Input: Collaborate with Marketing to provide the technical "meat" for case studies and white papers that demonstrate our expertise.
  • Cross-Functional Bridge: Serve as the connector between the commercial side (Clients/Sales) and the production side (Data Ops), ensuring no technical nuance is lost in translation.
