About The Position

Job Description Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize responsive UI components using React.js (Web) and React Native (iOS & Android). Integrate real-time features such as live messaging, match scores, typing indicators, read receipts, etc. Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build a seamless, consistent cross-platform user experience. Optimize application for performance, memory usage, and low-latency rendering, especially in media-heavy modules like reels, feeds, and video calls. Implement and manage state managementusing tools like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil. Work with WebSockets, Push Notifications, and Streaming APIs. You can implement offline-first behavior with proper caching and fallback strategies. Ensure consistent design with Pixel-perfect UIs using tools like Tailwind, Styled Components, or NativeBase. Maintain code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and using TypeScriptfor type safety. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in code reviews and agile sprint planning. Compensation This role is currently deferred compensation until we close our upcoming funding round (in progress). Once funded, this will convert into a full-time paid position with competitive salary and meaningful equity.

Requirements

7–8 years professional experience in frontend engineering
Strong experience with:
React (web) and React Native (mobile)
Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind or similar
Mobile app deployment (App Store + Play Store)
Webpack, Vite, or similar build tools
Demonstrated startup experience: you’ve worked in lean teams and shipped MVPs
Strong understanding of mobile UX/UI principles
Comfortable working in an agile environment with limited resources
Excited by a mission-driven product that brings people together through football

Nice To Haves

Bonus if you’ve worked on video editing/streaming, real-time messaging, or multilingual apps
Understanding of football and international sports a huge plus
