About The Position

Pragmatike is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing AI startup recognized as a Top 10 GenAI company by GTM Capital , founded by MIT CSAIL researchers. Were seeking a Frontend Engineer to build high-performance, scalable web applications that power distributed AI systems used by Fortune 500 customers. You will work closely with product, design, and AI engineering teams to transform complex AI workflows into intuitive, responsive, and elegant user experiences. This is an opportunity to shape the front-end architecture of mission-critical AI products at an early, fast-growing startup.

Requirements

Strong experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript .
Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs ; familiarity with backend fundamentals.
Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress).
Strong attention to detail, UX sensibility, and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and take ownership of features end-to-end.

Nice To Haves

Experience building dashboards, developer tools, or data-heavy interfaces.
Familiarity with design systems (MUI, Chakra, custom systems) or Figma workflows.
Exposure to cloud services or DevOps concepts (Docker, CI/CD).
Startup experience or shipping quickly in ambiguous environments.
Interest in AI/ML products and how users interact with complex technical systems.

Responsibilities

Build and optimize modern frontend applications using TypeScript + React, with responsive, accessible, and highly-performant UI components.
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and AI-powered features.
Contribute to design system evolution and frontend best practices.
Collaborate cross-functionally with AI/ML, backend, and product teams.
