About The Position

Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive web applications using Angular (v8+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, backend developers, and business analysts to translate requirements into high-quality frontend solutions. Implement reusable UI components, follow best practices, and ensure adherence to PNC’s secure coding and UX standards. Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend services. Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and continuous improvement activities. Optimize performance and ensure web applications meet accessibility and cross-browser compatibility standards. Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in Angular (version 8 or higher) and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, RxJS, and state management libraries (e.g., NgRx).
• Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular Material or Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG/ARIA).
• Exposure to financial domain applications or large enterprise systems.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerized deployments.
