About the position

As a Front of House Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive excellent service and a memorable dining experience. This role involves greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, emphasizing personal growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Greets every customer with a warm, friendly attitude and ensures they feel welcome.
  • Accurately takes customer orders in the restaurant and drive-thru, entering orders into the POS system.
  • Provides menu knowledge and suggests additional items (upselling) when appropriate.
  • Serves customers promptly and ensures that the food meets quality and presentation standards.
  • Processes payments using the POS, handles cash transactions, and ensures the accuracy of all transactions.
  • Maintains cleanliness in the dining area, front counter, and restrooms by clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and taking out trash as needed.
  • Works collaboratively with kitchen and other team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and quickly.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and proactively works to resolve any complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Follows all company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers.
  • Completes the training required within the first two weeks of joining.
  • Assists team leaders and members by refilling beverage containers, ice, condiments, and cups.
  • Honors and encourages others to follow and fulfill the purpose and values of Chick-fil-A.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work a minimum of three days per week including Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Must be available to work from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
  • Prior experience in the food service or customer service industry is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and work outside in the sun.
  • Must be able to lift items over 25 lbs. on a daily basis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in food service or customer service industry is preferred.
