About The Position

Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home is seeking a part-time Support Staff team member to assist with daily administrative tasks and serve as the first point of contact at our front office. This role helps create a welcoming environment for visitors while supporting our funeral directors with administrative needs.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Basic computer skills (email, scheduling software)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors and answer incoming calls
  • Provide basic information to visitors or clients
  • Take and deliver messages to staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
  • File documents and maintain records as directed by Funeral Directors
  • Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks
  • Make copies, scan documents, and print materials
  • Order or monitor office supplies
