About The Position

Responsible for supervising the daily activities of the clerical team members. Oversees the daily operations of the front office which includes scheduling of appointments, efficient flow of patients through the office and providing feedback related to manager. Advises patients and/or patient family members regarding insurance, billing, surgical and other issues or refers them to the appropriate team member who can help. Train or coordinate training of new front office employees. What you will do Assures that customer service is a focus of the practice. Provides supervision to front office staff. Uses information from patient satisfaction surveys to improve patient experience. Resolves concerns and responds to complaints related to front office operations. Assists patients regarding bills, insurance, and other issues. Refers to appropriate team member when unable to help personally. Ensures closing procedures and deposit is completed accurately. Oversees the completeness and accuracy of medical records for continuity of care and timely service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree, Business or related field
  • 1 year Medical Office experience
  • 1 year Coding experience
  • 1 year Insurance experience
