About The Position

The Front Office Representative serves as the patients' first and last point of contact in the office. This role is responsible for check-in and check-out duties, which may include entering charges, collecting deductibles and coinsurances, posting payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments. The representative assists with answering telephone calls, registering new patients, and making appointments. The position requires the ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of customer service and accuracy. Effective communication is essential, as the representative assists patients with questions and requests as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • No prior work experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent public relations skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with coworkers and patients.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and display emotional maturity.
