About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Bilingual Front Office Medical Receptionist to join our busy surgical practice in Oxnard, CA. This full-time position involves managing patient interactions, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating with medical staff to provide excellent patient care.

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish and English
• At least 1-2 years of Medical Front Office experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients
• Checking-in patients
• Assisting patients with forms and medical history updates
• Preparing charts and ensuring accurate documentation
• Performing insurance verification and explaining coverage
• Collecting copays or outstanding balances
• Scheduling patient appointments and procedures
• Obtaining authorizations and pre-certifications from insurance providers
• Managing a high volume of phone calls and patient requests
• Maintaining and organizing patient records
• Performing other front office and clerical duties as assigned
