The Front Office Manager at Hampton Inn & Suites Cincinnati Union Centre is responsible for overseeing routine operational tasks and supervising staff in their operational assignments. This role focuses on ensuring guest satisfaction and the efficient operation of the hotel, particularly in the absence of the General Manager. The position also involves assisting in achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, and the development of associates.

  • Supervise back of the house operating departments in the absence of the General Manager and/or Manager on Duty.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and efficient hotel operations.
  • Assist the General Manager in achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation and cost control.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards.
  • Comply with hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Assist in creating an environment where employees make empowered decisions to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in required Manager on Duty coverage as scheduled.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training for Guest Services based on occupancy.
  • Ensure training in service standards is taking place in each department.
  • Maintain compliance with Preventative Maintenance and Deep Cleaning Programs.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems.
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Effective problem-solving skills in the workplace.
  • Ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources.
  • Effective communication skills to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work with and understand financial information and basic arithmetic functions.
