Oversee all guest services operations, including front desk, reservations, activities and transportation services to ensure quality and guest satisfaction. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Able to multi-task in a high-pace environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to motivate staff
  • As a hospitality team member, your schedule is required to be flexible. Your schedule will be determined by your supervisor at their discretion to best service our guests, including mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the selection of front desk personnel.
  • Responsible for training all front desk personnel
  • Maintain online sales platforms with accurate data
  • Assist with updating reservation system including rates, seasons and messaging
  • Assist with front office schedule
  • Cover desk shifts as needed when staff call in
  • Assist with marketing plans
  • Attend all required meetings, including operations meetings
  • Maintain rooms checkbook
  • Assist with ordering supplies
  • Supervise workloads during shifts.
  • Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
  • Verify that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
  • Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently and courteously, including responding to complaints
  • Maintain rewards program
  • Maintain and update group information.
  • Adhere to budgets set forth
  • Work within the allocated labor standards for front desk.
  • Maintain and contribute to the shift log, noting problems, special guests, and work to be completed.
  • Enforce all cash handling, check cashing and credit policies.
  • Require and enforce all front office employees to always wear proper uniforms and name tags.
  • Assist GM with all projects or other duties as assigned.
