The Front Office Coordinator at Athletico Physical Therapy is responsible for managing the front-office experience for patients, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout their physical therapy journey. This role involves scheduling, insurance verification, and providing a welcoming environment for patients, while also supporting the clinic's operational needs.

  • Provide professional, friendly, and compassionate service to all patients and physical therapy staff.
  • Manage clinic scheduling to optimize patient flow and match patients with the best clinician for their needs.
  • Conduct new patient onboarding, including facility tours and data gathering.
  • Verify patient medical insurance information and manage insurance requirements.
  • Coordinate communication of patient progress to physicians and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with managing patient expectations regarding treatment frequency and duration.
  • Organize cultural moments to recognize and appreciate patients' achievements.
  • Execute and reinforce administrative and patient experience Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide general office, receptionist, and clerical support.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred
  • Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
  • Experience in a medical receptionist role
  • Administrative experience in a healthcare setting
