North Austin Pediatrics is seeking a Billing & Front Office Supervisor to join their Cedar Park office location’s management team. The practice aims to provide a personal approach to patients while delivering high-quality care. Requirements

2+ years experience in billing and coding
Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
Prior experience with supervision
Proven experience with electronic medical records
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to employ tact, diplomacy, and compassion in addressing staffing and patient issues and needs
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
Ability to relate to children
Excellent time management skills
Well organized, ability to multi-task, and punctual
Great customer skills
Team player

Responsibilities

Responsible for Billing processes and activities for the Cedar Park office location
Maintain filing of claims, payments, and reporting
Oversees and responsible for the front office staff supervision, schedule for office location, covers as needed if front staff call ins and/or planned vacation
Oversees front office duties delegation to ensure front office staff team is assigned to and maintains specific front office duties as working up specific provider appointments, front office flow, appointment scheduling policies followed, etc.
Responsible for training new hire front office staff
