About The Position
Front Office Assistant – Orlando Health Imaging Centers Location: 1111 W. Fairbanks Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789 Schedule: Monday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM; Tuesday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Must be available to work Saturdays as needed. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of clerical, business, or customer service experience
Responsibilities
- Schedule imaging appointments following practice protocols
- Verify insurance benefits and secure authorizations/pre‑certifications
- Collect accurate demographic, insurance, and billing information
- Provide professional telephone assistance using Orlando Health service standards
- Process medical records requests in compliance with policy
- Utilize office equipment and systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism, empathy, and respect
- Support smooth check‑in/check‑out workflows
- Uphold Orlando Health’s Commitment to Excellence
- Follow all Orlando Health and OHPG/OHPE/OPN policies
- Maintain safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards
- Support billing functions and efficient supply utilization
- Demonstrate reliable attendance within ADA, FMLA, and organizational guidelines
- Participate in quality and performance improvement activities
- Protect patient confidentiality and uphold compliance standards
