Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Confidence learning new systems and skills
- Strong communication and customer service demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a moderately paced setting
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ICD & CPT coding is a plus
- Comfortable working collaboratively with a supportive team
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and clinical staff
- Perform routine scheduling and administrative functions
- Manage multiple tasks such as answering phones, filing, and processing documentation
- Complete charge entry and cash handling accurately
- Serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, and insurance companies (including referrals and authorizations)
- Support quality assurance activities and help maintain a clean, organized office environment
