About The Position

The position is focused on ensuring a seamless guest experience during their arrival, stay, and departure at Trump National Doral - Miami. The role involves familiarizing guests with their rooms and hotel features, handling check-ins and check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries and requests.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required; four-year college degree preferred.
• One to two years of prior guest service experience preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Considerable skill in using a calculator for moderately complex mathematical calculations.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external guests, requiring patience, tact, and diplomacy.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak multiple languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete VIP registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests and room rate.
• Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs and code electronic keys.
• Ensure guests know the location of their rooms and arrange for associates to accompany them.
• Provide welcome packets containing room keys and tokens of appreciation to guests.
• Work with leaders to ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for within guest statements.
• Assist guests with check-out payments or charges and accept various forms of payment.
• Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Receive special requests from guests and forward them to appropriate associates.
• Establish food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations.
• Promptly answer telephone and web inquiries, input messages into the computer, and communicate special guest needs.
• Field guest complaints and conduct thorough research to develop effective solutions.
• Remain calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy resort activity.

Benefits

• $500 Sign-on Bonus, with $250 upon successful 90-day completion and $250 upon 180-day completion of employment.
