About The Position

At Chick-fil-A, the Team Member role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. As a Front of House Team Member, you will welcome & greet guests, take and prepare customer orders in either the front counter or drive-thru, maintain cleanliness in the counter and dining room, observe health and sanitation guidelines, and ensure each guest leaves with a smile! We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who enjoy serving customers. We will teach you everything else you need to know! Successful Team Members will conduct themselves in a positive attitude and truthful character demonstrating 2nd mile service to every guest who visits our restaurant.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a source of reliable transportation
  • Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
  • Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
  • Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
  • Mobility required during shifts
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Key positions required of position: Outside Order taking, Dining room Host/Hostess, Outside meal delivery, Drive-thru order taking, food and drink assembly.
  • Understand all tenets of Second Mile Service (2MS), Operational Excellence (OE) and Creating Emotional Connections (EC).
  • Execute FIFO (First In, First Out) model is being followed.
  • Protect the customer experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation and quality is top level.
  • Appropriately handle all customer issues and play a positive role in customer recovery.
  • Understands food safety and quality excellence.
  • Show up on time, have a great attitude and work hard for your entire shift.
  • Constantly improve yourself by finding ways to do your work better and faster.
  • Be responsible to fill your shift if you are not able work.
  • Ensure your appearance is in compliance with the Team Member Handbook and Food Safety Guidelines.
  • Be a team player.
  • Assist in keeping the store clean, hygienic, and tidy, at all times.
  • Stay up to date with yearly certifications and trainings.
  • Uphold operators vision and mission for store in daily operations.
  • Display good stewardship and a sense of ownership for the business.
  • Invests in Chick-fil-A culture with willingness to grow and positive attitude.
  • Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
  • Uphold all Pathway procedures and restaurant policies.
