About The Position

The Shift Leader role at Chick-fil-A Paramus is responsible for all operational activities associated with the front of the restaurant, including order taking and fulfillment, running a shift smoothly, cash management, drive-thru operations, hospitality and team member development. The Shift Leader is prepared to execute daily operations with a high degree of excellence across the above mentioned operational activities. This position supports the position of the Front of House Ops Lead. This role sets the standard for "Operational Excellence" and leads by example while mentoring and developing the team members.

Requirements

  • 1 Year in Restaurant Leadership Role or Equivalent
  • Available to work 3 evenings per week and 3 Saturdays a month
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in operations within customer service industry

  • Deliver a remarkable dining experience for all guests
  • Development of Team Leader and Team Member behaviors
  • Maintains and develops a sense of urgency that creates a surprisingly fast service
  • Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean and safe environment
  • Maintains work environment that ensures and promotes food safety
  • Vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the Front of House
  • Cash management operations
  • Deliver daily performance reports to Leadership Team
  • Coaches, evaluates, and holds accountable Front of House Team Members
  • Responsible for Opening and/or Closing of Restaurant
  • Lead shift of 20-30 Team Members at a time
  • Ownership of meeting goals and setting records
  • Able to fulfill operational needs in the restaurant at a high level
