About The Position
Local, waterfront restaurant is seeking truly exceptional talent for a part time Front of the House Manager. Applicants with extraordinary personalities and a sense of how to help deliver “the good life” in a relaxed but five-star fashion to our valued guests are what we are looking for. Job Description: The Front of House Manager plans and directs all day to day restaurant operations. Maintains high standards of food, service, health and safety; ensures the efficient and profitable business performance of the restaurant and the optimal utilization of staff and resources.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience or degree in Hospitality Management
Responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Coordinate restaurant operations to include daily schedules and identifying recruiting needs
- Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and quality guest experience
- Maintain employee records
- Oversee training and identify training needs
- Responsible for new hire onboarding and orientation
- Conduct staff meetings when necessary
- Monitor labor and operational costs
- Identify and estimate food and beverage supply requirements/needs and ensure inventory needs are met
- Perform other duties as assigned
