About The Position

Lead the upscale dining experience as the Front of House Manager at Greek Peak Mountain Resort! Are you a hospitality leader with a passion for exceptional guest service and team development? Greek Peak Mountain Resort is looking for a dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee the daily restaurant and bar operations for Carvers Steakhouse. What You’ll Do: Guest Service & Team Leadership Hire, train, and mentor new and existing restaurant and bar staff in customer service, POS systems, and operational procedures. Conduct pre-shift meetings to set expectations, discuss special instructions, and ensure smooth service. Lead by example, coaching staff on best practices and providing immediate feedback to maintain high service standards. Operational Excellence Schedule and adjust staffing levels based on business forecasts to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction. Ensure cleanliness and organization in all front-of-house areas, including dining spaces and service stations. Maintain dress code and health department compliance for all food & beverage staff. Communication & Reporting Handle guest requests and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction through follow-up and resolution. Maintain accurate records through logbooks and internal communication systems for accountability and consistency. Provide daily reports on critical operational issues to food & beverage management. Inventory & Financial Oversight: Assist with supply ordering, inventory management, and accurate inventory counts. Monitor sales trends and suggest improvements to enhance profitability. ‍Cross-Department Support: Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless guest experiences across all areas. Uphold resort policies, safety procedures, and service standards to create a welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in a restaurant supervisory role, with serving/bartending experience required.
  • Ability to inspire, train, and manage a team in a high-energy environment.
  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Windows.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a busy restaurant setting.
