About The Position

As a Front of House Lead Supervisor at Massanutten Resort, you will be a crucial part of the leadership team, ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house and enhancing guest satisfaction. Your role involves supporting daily service, assisting with opening and closing procedures, and maintaining an energetic and organized environment during service hours. You will act as a guest experience champion, confidently resolving escalated concerns and creating memorable positive interactions. Additionally, you will serve as a friendly resort ambassador, providing helpful information about on-site offerings and local attractions. You are also responsible for upholding high standards of excellence by actively promoting a safe, clean, and well-run environment and encouraging your team to do the same.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general database applications)
• Understanding of ABC regulations
• Previous food and beverage experience
• Must be at least 21

Nice To Haves

• Serve safe certification
• Previous food and beverage management experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing of restaurant
• Place orders as needed
• Assist with daily operations of cooking, serving, and dishwashing
• Oversee/participate in putting away stock, including alcohol, in the correct manner
• Assist and oversee monthly inventory
• Coordinate and oversee meal quality within guidelines of menu, dietary requirements, and the standards of appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation served to guests
• Other duties as assigned by management
