About The Position

The Front of House (FOH) Director at Chick-fil-A Old Bridge is responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and driving team performance through Chick-fil-A's core values. This leadership role requires a strategic approach to operational efficiency, team development, and customer satisfaction, supporting Chick-fil-A's commitment to continuous improvement and excellence. The FOH Director works closely with the Operator, Directors, and Shift Leaders to maintain operational standards, financial stewardship, and adherence to established policies

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, and guiding team members and shift leaders to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within FOH operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Chick-fil-A's operational standards, including the Core 4 principles, second-mile service, WHED strategy, and practices that create outstanding guest experiences.
  • Highly organized with a strong commitment to keeping all FOH areas-dining room, front counter, and bathrooms-clean, well-organized, and running efficiently.
  • Proficient in utilizing digital tools to optimize FOH operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively sharing Chick-fil-A's vision, values, and expectations with team members, guests, and leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in managing guest feedback and resolving challenges to maintain guest satisfaction and protect Chick-fil-A's reputation.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to open and close shifts, along with the adaptability to support peak business hours and special events.
  • Committed to upholding safety, security, and sanitation standards, ensuring a safe and welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with Chick-fil-A's 5 Critical Success Factors - Embody the principles of Leadership, Talent Development, Financial Stewardship, Sales & Brand Growth, and Customer Experience, aligning with the Chick-fil-A Old Bridge goal of "1% better every day."
  • Manage Mid-Level Leadership Team - Supervise and support Shift Leaders and Team Leaders, fostering a collaborative and productive leadership team.
  • Ensure Operational Efficiency - Work alongside mid-level management to run shifts smoothly, providing feedback and guidance to improve team and guest experiences.
  • Drive Guest and Team Satisfaction - Exceed expectations by implementing and upholding systems and policies that enhance both guest and employee experiences.
  • Develop and Implement Systems - Create and refine systems and processes tailored to various business segments, optimizing operational flow and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate on Policy Creation - Partner with Directors and the Operator to establish policies and procedures aimed at maximizing operational efficiency and maintaining high standards.
  • Manage Financial Operations - Oversee financial activities, including daily till and safe counts, and use financial software (InForm and Signal) to manage cost centers related to labor, food, maintenance, and productivity.
  • Enhance Customer Experience Metrics (CEMs) - Lead initiatives to improve customer experience through effective team leadership, training, and system implementation.
  • Maintain Compliance with Third-Party Inspections - Ensure adherence to policies and protocols required for successful Deloitte and EcoSure inspections.
