About The Position
The FOH Closing Manager at Chick-fil-A is a pivotal role that involves assisting the Director team in all aspects of shift management, ensuring that every restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. This position is responsible for supervising the Front of House (FOH) during an entire shift and managing the closing process of the restaurant according to established procedures. The manager plays a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring that all team members adhere to the company's standards and protocols. In this role, the FOH Closing Manager will ensure that team members follow all operational systems, including adhering to recipes and accurately preparing orders. The manager will oversee the accuracy of weights and measurements for all recipe items and ensure that team members work efficiently to meet the restaurant's speed of service guidelines. Maintaining cleanliness in workstations and ensuring that cashiers follow cash handling procedures are also key responsibilities. The manager will execute proper security and cash handling procedures, holding cashiers accountable for compliance. Additionally, the FOH Closing Manager will monitor the cleanliness of the dining room, restrooms, parking lot, and overall facility. They will address any guest issues that arise and consult with management on more complex matters. Maintaining a positive working relationship with team members is essential, as is providing them with direction and constructive feedback. The manager will communicate employee performance and any policy violations to management for appropriate action, ensuring strict adherence to all company policies and procedures. This role is not just about managing shifts; it is about fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied.
