Cashiers/ FOH are responsible for identifying the needs of guests and accommodating those needs for counter service, table service, and running of food. Serving the guests quickly and efficiently with complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu. Maintaining the work area in a clean and orderly manner throughout the shift and upholding Department of Health standards at all times.QualificationsResponsibilities include, but not limited to: Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival and/or while moving through counter service, bar or dining areas. Recognize, engage, and learn the names and preferences of regular guests Bring or package and deliver dishes to appropriate guests after being prepared by the kitchen. Deliver food and beverage orders to guests supporting all team members orders. Ensure guests have appropriate utensils, sides, and accoutrements for each dish. Maintain current and accurate knowledge of the menu and be able to recommend and answer guest questions about dish ingredients and preparations. Remain fully knowledgeable of all menu offerings, acceptable modifications, allergy protocols, and any other information needed to maintain guest satisfaction and safety Maintain full knowledge of beverage and food menus and all dining service standards. Practice responsible alcoholic beverage service (including age verification and TABC protocols) and report any issues to management Record orders into the POS accurately and immediately after having received them. Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change upholding and cash handling procedures. Responsible for all areas of assigned guest service including counter service and dining room areas. Responsible for all areas of server checklist on a daily basis Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, any assigned tables, glassware, utensils, and service equipment Stock service stations with necessary product and service tools (i.e. china, ice, glassware, silverware, to go items, napkins, straws, etc.) as needed Report all equipment problems, damages and bar maintenance issues to managers Be knowledgeable of property facilities, services, hours of operation, in-house events, and promote property offerings to better assist guests Maintain confidentiality of guest, employee, and company information Handles, stores and rotates all products properly Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible. Performs inventory checks and completes storage logs as assigned by management. Assists in prep and cleaning assignments during off-peak periods as needed. Assists others in tasks and cleaning. Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and any scheduled employee meetings. Performs other related duties as assigned by Food & Beverage Management or manager-on-duty.
