About The Position

Waste Connections is seeking a safety-conscious CDL Route Driver to operate a Commercial CDL Truck in Humble, Texas. The driver will be responsible for delivering dumpster containers to customers while ensuring safety and providing excellent service. This role involves working in various environments and requires a self-motivated individual who is eager to grow with the company.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a satisfactory driving record
• Class A or B CDL
• Ability to work Monday - any day of the week starting as early as midnight
• Physically comfortable with the demands of the job

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a Commercial CDL Truck into various environments (Residential, Construction, Commercial, etc.)
• Determining the best drop-off location for dumpsters to avoid property damage
• Operating hydraulic hand controls to lift/load dumpsters on/off the truck
• Securing the dumpster load and accounting for weight shift before departing
• Reading route sheets and servicing each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher
• Performing daily pre and post-trip inspections
• Interacting courteously with customers
• Completing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
