About The Position

Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a Front Load Driver at our Hauling site in Opa Locka, FL. The position will be responsible for driving a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. Pay Range: $25-29+/hr. DOE Waste Connections is an integrated solid waste services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in mostly exclusive and secondary markets. Requirements

Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
2+ years minimum commercial driving experience
At least 2 years of stable work history, with your most recent position being a CDL driver
Able to lift 50+ pounds
Clean driving record for the last 5 years
Ability to operate a garbage truck safely and efficiently.
Ability to perform a physically demanding job, including lifting and loading waste.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Utilize electronic route sheets to ensure timely and efficient waste collection.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and the community.
Perform a physically demanding job, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
