Bring your experience and ideas to play a key role in enabling the development of new manufacturing processes at the Manufacturing Technology Center (MTC) by supporting R&D projects in addition to assisting in the production of quality products, safely, on time, and on budget for new programs. You'll be able to hone your skills on significant R&D projects, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Goal-oriented, data driven, with strong sense of urgency.
  • Creative, entrepreneurial, and an empowering leader with strong organizational, human relations and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience and/or relative supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

  • A BS in Engineering, supply chain management, business management, leadership, OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.
  • Manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Create and implement procedures and standard work, process improvements or best practices.
  • Achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions.
  • Ensure compliance of existing protocols (tool calibration, tool control, operator training and qualification, etc.).
  • Coordinate with maintenance and facilities to ensure work orders are submitted and completed.
  • Conduct disciplines of employees when necessary.
