About The Position

Seeking a skilled and dynamic Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. This role will prepare and present high-quality food and beverage items for daily guests, tournaments, and special events. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards along with a professional appearance and positive attitude.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); A minimum of six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours and events.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server Certification required.
  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, club, or catering environment preferred.
  • Culinary training or certification a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
  • Assist with presenting menus, answering questions, and making recommendations for food and beverages to all guests.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, deliver items promptly, and transact sales in the POS system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, storage areas, and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Assist in developing daily specials and menu updates based on seasonal ingredients, demand, and guest preferences.
  • Monitor food quality, consistency, and freshness to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
  • Support banquet and tournament food and beverage service operations as needed.
  • Receive and properly store deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory rotation and minimal waste.
  • Collaborate with additional staff members to ensure smooth and timely service to all guests.
  • Assist with opening, closing, side work duties, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Follow established guidelines for both front of the house and back of the house duties functions.
