U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Front End UI Development Lead in Hopkins, MN. The Front End UI Development lead position is focused on architecting, designing, and implementing UI interfaces across the sales and servicing platforms, leading technical direction and strategy for various initiatives. The role involves evaluating competing technologies and presenting proposed architecture to senior management, closely collaborating with backend team leads to establish workflows and APIs, engaging in active software development, ensuring high quality code, and optimizing application performance. The position also includes mentoring and supporting team members, providing guidance and feedback on code and design, and having a solid understanding of native/hybrid mobile development. The lead will be a key contributor to common needs such as UI component library vision, consistency, accessibility, and internationalization. Additionally, the role involves researching and suggesting direction for key decisions regarding automated testing, 3rd party tools, and delivery process improvements, as well as architecting and building solutions in Microsoft Azure, working with infrastructure engineers, and developing CI/CD Pipelines using Gitlabs to deploy infrastructure and applications into Azure. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of the worksite location.
