About The Position
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Front End UI Development Lead in Hopkins, MN. The Front End UI Development lead position is focused on architecting, designing, and implementing UI interfaces across the sales and servicing platforms, leading technical direction and strategy for various initiatives. The role involves evaluating competing technologies and presenting proposed architecture to senior management, closely collaborating with backend team leads to establish workflows and APIs, engaging in active software development, ensuring high quality code, and optimizing applications for performance. The position also includes mentoring and supporting team members, providing guidance and feedback on code and design, and having a solid understanding of native/hybrid mobile development. The role requires a key contribution to common needs such as UI component library vision, consistency, accessibility, and internationalization. Additionally, the position involves researching and suggesting direction for key decisions regarding automated testing, 3rd party tools, and delivery process improvements, architecting and building solutions in Microsoft Azure, working with infrastructure engineers, and being responsible for migrating apps to Azure. The position may allow working from home within commuting distance of the worksite location.
