The Worker Scheduled: C Crew- Nights position involves operating front-end machines such as coil handling machines, cupping press, body makers, trimmers, and baler. The role requires understanding and compliance with safety SOPs and work instructions, particularly regarding lockout/tagout, chemical handling, machine guarding, housekeeping, BRC, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities include rebuilding, repairing, or overhauling front-end can manufacturing equipment and other machinery as needed, modifying, removing, installing, adjusting, synchronizing, or repairing equipment or parts, and making proper diagnoses and adjustments to assigned equipment. The position also involves reading and interpreting computer information system reports, working from verbal or written instructions, and performing inspections using precision measuring and gauging tools. The worker must exhibit thorough knowledge of machines and mechanical principles, set up and test can manufacturing equipment, and operate machinery while maintaining operational efficiency.
