Front End Specialist
About The Position
Ensure power press machinery (C upper s , Body Maker s , Trimmers, Balers, and Conveyance Mats ) is properly maintained and running at peak efficiency within quality specifications. Essential Functions/Key Deliverables Perform preventative maintenance on all Front End machinery Greasing the specified grease points \ Alignment of the machines Replac e worn/damage tooling Maintain records of tooling usage per machine Rebuild/Repair equipment Identify leaks in the system Ability to read blueprints/ drawings ( DWGs ) Work within tolerances <.0005 Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment Help train other employees on how to troubleshoot. Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.
Requirements
- Vocational education a plus ( Mechanical, Technical or similar )
- Experience in a Manufacturing facility is a plus
- Intermediate knowledge of US measurement
- Trouble shoot machinery when out of specification
- Experience with calipers, dial indicators, feeler gauges, and depth micrometers
- General tool knowledge and capable of using torque wrenches to specified specification
- Problem solving skills
- Self-motivated with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Must be able to operate a forklift
