Front-End Software Engineer position responsible for refactoring of Key's Mobile and Web Banking application specifically around ADA (American Disability Act) standards and backlog of non-compliant code.
Refactor Key's Mobile and Web Banking application to comply with ADA standards.
Address backlog of non-compliant code.
Create and use reusable UI components.
Write unit tests and utilize automated testing.
Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Science, Information Systems Management or equivalent work experience.
Experience in Angular framework.
Strong understanding of Web Standards and HTML semantics.
Strong CSS knowledge.
Advanced knowledge of WCAG 2.0 and ADA standards and compliance.
Experience with BEM or other modular CSS methodology.
Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g. Sass or Less).
Advanced JavaScript knowledge.
Experience using Angular (or other framework) in a corporate environment.
Familiar with Design and UX guidelines.
Good verbal, written and listening communication skills.
Experience guiding, contributing to or using a design system.
