The Slackforce team is seeking Senior and Staff Frontend Engineers to lead development of high-impact, cross-platform experiences between Slack and Salesforce. We build the integration that brings Salesforce data and workflows directly into Slack. Our work is central to how enterprises collaborate: creating the connective tissue that makes two of the world’s most widely used platforms feel like one seamless system.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience writing client-side applications.
  • Recent experience with Typescript, Redux, and React.
  • Expertise in building complex layouts with CSS and HTML.
  • Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment.
  • Experience with modern browser technologies.
  • Strong UX and design sensibilities, and a desire to sweat the small stuff.
  • Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy.
  • Self-awareness and a desire to continually improve.
  • A related technical degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, Backend, and Frontend Engineers to conceptualize and build new features.
  • Produce high-quality results by contributing heavily to team projects that have a significant impact on the business.
  • Actively own team features or systems and define their long-term health, while also improving the health of surrounding systems.
  • Assist support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues.
  • Mentor other engineers and deeply review code.
  • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
