Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers receive fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service while promoting a “customer first” experience
  • Supervise, schedule, and direct Front End Clerks, Courtesy Clerks, and Customer Service Clerks
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and in accordance with company guidelines
  • Oversee front-end operations, including customer traffic flow, service levels, cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance
  • Serve as an on-duty supervisor, including functioning as an overflow cashier when needed
  • Manage cash controls, including cash register tills, safe transactions, loans, pickups, refunds, and approvals
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of front-end supplies and merchandise
  • Enforce company standards related to safety, security, dress code, and grooming
  • Respond to operational issues, system errors, emergencies, and safety concerns
  • Perform store walks, delegate tasks, and follow up to ensure completion
