The position involves receiving and verifying grocery vendor deliveries efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities

• Receive and verify grocery vendor deliveries for quality, count, and condition against invoices.
• Perform functions in Produce, Point-of-Sale, and Receiving.
• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Greet customers in a genuine and friendly manner.
• Assist customers in locating products and performing price checks.
• Load/unload heavy items and help customers retrieve out-of-reach items.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, box cutters, and forklifts according to company guidelines.
• Monitor and report abnormal vendor actions and unauthorized customers in Receiving.
• Log irregularities, discrepancies, shortages, and damaged shipments.
• Communicate problems that may affect the integrity of the store or vendor.
• Deliver products to applicable storage/workload areas.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards.
• Check and maintain equipment for proper performance.
• Comply with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations.
