Responsibilities

• Check all grocery vendor deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Perform functions in Produce, Point-of-Sale, and receiving areas.
• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Greet customers in a genuine and friendly manner.
• Assist customers in locating products and performing price checks.
• Load/unload heavy items and help customers retrieve out-of-reach items.
• Communicate effectively with customers and respond to inquiries.
• Enforce receiving operating hours and control vendor traffic.
• Receive merchandise and verify deliveries against invoices.
• Log irregularities, discrepancies, and damaged shipments.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts according to guidelines.
• Deliver products to storage/workload areas and manage waste.
• Rotate perishable merchandise and remove out-of-code items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas.
• Assist in responding to emergencies and potential safety hazards.
• Check and maintain equipment for proper performance.
• Observe security standards and report violations.
• Comply with food safety and sanitation regulations.
