About the position

The Front End Pharmacy Technician at Esatto is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers, both in-person and over the phone. This role involves utilizing pharmacy management software for prescription processing, ensuring accurate medication delivery, and participating in quality improvement activities. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers in person and by phone.
• Leverage pharmacy management software for efficient entry of prescription information and to provide updates to patients.
• Fill prescriptions and prepare for pick up or shipment.
• Effectively process prescription orders to quickly get the right medication to the right patient at the right time.
• Process medication orders through point of sale system.
• Participate in regular audits and inspections.
• Participate in any department meeting and quality improvement activities.
• Complete appropriate documentation such as labels, log sheets, and reports in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent
• Certified pharmacy technician in the state of Arizona
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to undergo a background check and drug testing in advance of employment
• Must be capable of donning the appropriate personal protective equipment as required per procedure and medication handled
• Complete 2 hours of continuous education related to remote pharmacy dispensing/telepharmacy
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
• 1 year of call center experience
• PTCB Certification
• Pharmacy Technician Certification
