About The Position

A party host creates memories for customers and their children by preparing for and conducting children’s birthday parties and cooking classes. During down time with no parties, Party Hosts/Hostesses work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

  • No experience required, but artistic skills a plus
  • Excellent oral communication skills with both adults and children
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to operate a computer
  • Safely use a knife
  • Must enjoy being around children

Responsibilities

  • Decorate and set up party room using established standards and in the specific theme
  • Shop for items needed to execute the party, such as pizza, juice, birthday cake, additional catering platters, if ordered
  • Conduct birthday party using established standards including face or hand painting, assisting children with craft, playing games, serving pizza, singing happy birthday
  • Keep party on pace with established time standards
  • Conduct toddler cooking classes and follow recipes
  • Clean up party and supply room
  • Inventory supply room
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation regulations
  • Assist with seasonal Catering as needed
  • Ability to help in other departments when there is no parties
  • Other duties, as assigned
