About The Position

The Front End Manager at Jetro / Restaurant Depot is responsible for overseeing the front-end operations, ensuring efficient customer service, and managing a team of cashiers and loaders. This role focuses on maintaining a smooth checkout process, addressing customer issues, and ensuring product integrity during transactions. The manager will also be involved in training staff, scheduling, and maintaining operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, OR High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in customer service or related field.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations.
• Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and evaluates cashiers, front-end loaders, checkers, and U-boat retrieval.
• Oversees supervisors of cashiers and loaders.
• Monitors loaders to ensure proper loading and integrity of products.
• Manages cashiers and loaders to ensure timely customer service and prevent long lines.
• Handles customer problems and ensures courteous service.
• Maintains logs of cashier and loader errors and documents them for review.
• Develops weekly schedules for cashiers and loaders, including breaks and lunches.
• Trains employees in job responsibilities and safe operating procedures.
• Ensures proper staffing and operational equipment for quick and accurate checkout.
• Maintains dialogue with customers for feedback on service and product availability.
