BJ’s Wholesale Club is powered by more than 30,000 team members. The Front End Lead oversees the frontline in the absence of the Front End Manager. This role involves coaching, teaching, and developing all frontline team members to ensure excellent member service and successful execution of membership programs and initiatives. The FEL is responsible for monitoring, driving, and coaching for desired membership/member experience goals and results, ensuring all membership products are offered and Member orders/requests are processed positively, timely, and efficiently. The FEL delegates work, monitors staffing, and ensures compliance with operational standards, while providing excellent customer service to Members. The role emphasizes leadership, building high-performing teams, effective communication, and delivering results, all while maintaining a safe and positive environment for both team members and members, embracing inclusion and diversity, and committing to GOLD Member Standards and Club Standards.
