About The Position

Cryptography team provides the security features our customers need. We enable
customers to confidently move sensitive workloads to the cloud where they can
benefit from strong security controls that help meet internal and external
compliance requirements. Come join a creative team dedicated to keeping millions
of customers’ data safe! AWS KMS, AWS CloudHSM, and Amazon Payment Cryptography
provide managed or dedicated, FIPS-validated cryptographic key storage and
operations—ranging from simplified, highly integrated encryption (KMS) and
single-tenant hardware control (CloudHSM) to specialized payment card processing
(Payment Cryptography)—to secure data and meet regulatory compliance.
We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to join us in building the
most secure services in AWS. Our systems protect customer content and accelerate
use of cryptography in all AWS services. You should have experience developing
customer-centric systems and a passion for delivering software solutions using
scalable, distributed architecture. Along with senior leaders, principal
engineers, and security specialists you will discover and solve the new
interesting challenges of growing and operating a globally distributed
cryptographic security service.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
• 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
