About The Position

The Team Our Health Engineering Solutions (HES) team works side by side with customers to articulate a vision for success, and then make it happen. We know success doesn't happen by accident. It takes the right team of people, working together on the right solutions for the customer. We are looking for a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer who will be a key driver to make this happen. Our team supports the vision to improve patient quality care and consumer decision-making by hospital providers across the country, by collecting, computing, and publicly reporting outcomes-based hospital quality measure data. This contract will serve to develop a human-centric reporting system that allows refinement, filtering, and data comparison, as well as the ability to view supplemental information. Leveraging modern technologies, DevOps practices, and cloud-based infrastructure, our dynamic work environment involves multiple project teams collaborating toward a common vision of delivering an integrated solution. Job Location: Remote; however, this position requires that the job be performed in the United States and there will be travel of approximately 10% to a customer site. If you accept this position, you should note that ICF does monitor employee work locations and blocks access from foreign locations/foreign IP addresses and prohibits personal VPN connections. Key Responsibilities and Job Duties Work with Product Owner and UX design to understand and create solutions for diverse user requirements Develop and maintain Angular web applications Write clean, well-structured code and ensure the implementation of unit tests using relevant testing frameworks Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing performance and addressing bugs as they arise Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards Participate in team meetings and team processes for application development and release Be part of a dynamic, highly independent Scrum team following the standard Scrum ceremonies in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to front-end development Collaborate with members of other teams to address integration needs and/or other interdependencies The work requires and extensive background investigation which equates to Public Trust

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; OR completion of 6+ weeks of a programming boot camp plus 1+ year of IT-related experience; OR 4 years of relevant industry experience without a formal degree.
  • 3+ years of experience and working knowledge of Angular
  • 3+ years of experience testing code builds and deployment properly through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes, built in Jenkins or a comparable tool
  • 3+ years of experience with version control tools, such as Git, as well as experience with modern design patterns and building enterprise-grade production applications
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
  • Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S
  • Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years
