About The Position

We are looking for a skilled and driven Front-End Engineer to join our team at GoHealth. You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining high-performing, customer-facing applications that power our health products. If you’re passionate about creating seamless user experiences and thrive in fast-moving, cross-functional teams, we’d love to have you on board. Get ready to Build scalable, responsive web apps using TypeScript and Next.js following a monorepo approach. Write and maintain reliable unit tests using various testing frameworks. Develop an understanding of infrastructure nuances and strategies for improving application performance. Use monitoring (Datadog) and analytics (Looker) platforms to analyze technical and business-relevant metrics. Collaborate with backend developers, marketing specialists, designers, and QA engineers to deliver smooth, conversion-driven user journeys. Contribute clean, maintainable, and reusable code while adhering to modern best practices. Stay current with evolving frontend technologies and continuously seek improvements. Depending on your experience level, take technical ownership, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers. Get hands-on experience with AI tools — the ones we build ourselves!

Requirements

  • Have solid experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Be confident in writing unit tests and optimizing applications for performance.
  • Understand and apply UI/UX best practices in a fast-paced product environment.
  • Work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-driven and flexible culture.
  • (For senior candidates) Lead by example, guide technical direction, and support team growth through mentorship and collaboration.
  • Be fluent in English.
  • Be interested in lifestyle and health products and wish to contribute to their development and marketing

Nice To Haves

  • experience with NodeJS, CI/CD configuration or automated testing.
