About The Position
Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Front-End Engineer III to join our team in Santa Clara, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying the front-end experience and maintainability of team tools or applications. This role involves developing and improving large user-facing product features and components that fit seamlessly into the overall product architecture to ensure a cohesive customer experience. The engineer will design and implement production quality web applications that are performant, secure, and accessibility compliant. Participation in engineering software design and user experience discussions is expected, along with contributing both collaboratively and independently in a rapidly changing environment to support user requirements. The role also includes resolving the root cause of complex front-end/UX issues to improve software, using appropriate programming paradigms and front-end software design patterns, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
