Samsung SDSA is seeking a Front-End Development Intern to support the development of a comparative analytics tool. This role focuses on extracting key product information and transforming it into a unified, user‑friendly dashboard to generate market insights and support data-driven analysis across current product portfolios. This individual will work to enhance and upgrade an existing foundational tool, experiment with new frameworks to determine optimal configurations and use cases, feeding results into the existing analytics tool to enrich insights. A Front-End Development Internship here offers the opportunity to craft impactful user experiences within a company that doesn’t just participate in tech trends—it creates them. Eligibility criteria: Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with a graduation date in 2026 or 2027. Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. 10-week commitment for 40 hours per week with availability to start June 8th, 2026. Must be able to commute to Ridgefield Park, NJ at least 3 days per week.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles.
  • Foundational Python scripting skills for automation or tooling tasks.
  • Interest in learning front-end frameworks and modern development tools.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to ask questions.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Git or other version control systems.
  • Experience with a low code/no-code front-end framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design.
  • Basic understanding of APIs and how front-end apps interact with back-end services.
  • Exposure to Syndigo or equivalent product experience tools.
  • GitHub portfolio showcasing personal or academic projects; strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and maintaining low-code/no-code web applications, UI components, and interactive features using JavaScript.
  • Support responsive design implementation across desktop and mobile experiences.
  • Test, debug, and refine front-end features to improve performance and usability.
  • Help identify UI/UX issues and contribute to iterative improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and contribute to code quality.
  • Use Python scripting to support automation, data processing, or workflow tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and deliver user‑focused solutions.
  • Assist with documentation, accessibility enhancements, and front-end process improvements.
