The Front End UI Developer position includes developing and optimizing user interfaces using modern web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, often with a framework like React or Angular. Key responsibilities include translating UI/UX designs into functional code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance. This role also involves a significant contribution to technical direction, code reviews, and the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices. Candidate will work under the Morgan Stanley Digital Client Platform team, based out of New York City, NY. Working closely with the technology Lead, Architecture, Development, Product, Risk and Compliance teams, the candidate will be responsible for code development, mentor the junior team members and be responsible for project delivery, execution and support. Candidate should be able to work in a dynamic environment with limited or no supervision and should be able to motivate junior team members. Should be comfortable and manage time working with global team on multiple initiatives.
